How early can an infant begin swimming lessons?

Hi Moms
My daughter is 4 months old right now. SEO . I am hoping to put her in swimming lessons this summer when she will be 6-7 months. I was wondering if thats too young for an infant to begin swimming? Aside from the swimming itself, what about the pool being a source of infections?
