Swimwear Washing and Care Tips
Once you find the perfect swimsuit, make sure you get the maximum wear from it by following these simple care tips:
Hand Wash in Cold Water with Very Mild Soap
Make sure to always rinse your swimsuit with regular tap water after swimming. Salt water or chlorinated water will fade or break down the fabric over time.
Avoid using a washing machine to clean your swimwear. You should hand wash your suit with a mild liquid detergent. Some stronger detergents can cause colors to bleed or fade. Mild soaps, such as Ivory®, work best. Avoid all chlorine-based bleach products, spot removers, and dry cleaning. Cheap First Time Insurance . Never use bleach.
Hang Dry

Keep it Oil Free

Limit Your Time in the Hot Tub
Hot tubs and highly chlorinated water can cause your swimsuit to fade. Also, these hot water conditions can cause embellishments to fade or fall off of the suit. Limit your swimsuitâs exposure to hot or highly chlorinated water or wear an older suit in these conditions. Some swimwear manufacturers recommend that you NOT wear their products in hot tubs or whirlpools because of the damage they may cause. So if you need that hot soak, it's best to wear your second favorite swimsuit if you can.
