The beach is, without doubt, one of the main attractions of holidaying in Mooloolaba. There is plenty of good shopping around Mooloolaba, which is quite a fashionable area. There are many boutique clothing stores, jewelery stores and homewares shops to spend time browsing through. There are several arcades off The Esplanade, which is the main road alongside the beach and many beach front shops too.
Mooloolaba also offers people a wide selection of dining choices. You can get a cheap snack of fish and chips or pizza and kebabs or find restaurants that win Australia wide awards. There is also a great choice of international cuisine available with restaurants offering Indian, Chinese, Italian, North African, Thai, Mexican and many others. There are also great Australian fusion restaurants available too. One of the great things about Mooloolaba is the amount of alfresco dining that can be enjoyed all year round.
Along the Esplanade and along Parkyn Parade are the main areas where you can find Mooloolaba accommodation. There are many resorts there that offer short term accommodation or longer term holiday rentals. Behind the Mooloolaba Surf Club, there is also a very popular caravan park for camping.
There are many kinds of Mooloolaba accommodation to meet your individual vacation requirements and there are often great packages and deals to be had. In peak holiday times you will have to book well ahead in order to get the style of accommodation and price that you want.
